TilmeldDo you want to play funk, soul, and fusion jazz? At Funky Souls, we play exactly these genres and focus on the raw and groovy rhythms that are the foundation of these styles. We practice playing together so that it sounds tight and cool, while also working on playing solos.
Who are
you?
You've played your instrument for a while and enjoy playing with other young
people. You play either a rhythm section instrument, a wind instrument, or you
sing. You should ideally be able to play melodies and chords, and if you can
read chord symbols, that’s a big plus (though not required).
The
practical details
Sign up early to ensure there's space. You need to bring your own instrument.
If you're a drummer, we provide the drums, but you need to bring your own
sticks. Pianists don't need to bring an instrument.
