Jazz klaver (Øvet)
TilmeldThis class is taught in English (or French) and is for those who want to explore or further develop their skills in jazz piano.
How do you voice chords so they sound good and have just the right amount of spice? How do you get better at improvising? How do you keep time and make the music swing? These are some of the challenges we’ll dive into together.
We’ll primarily work with jazz standards, which form a large part of the jazz tradition. There will be a focus on pulse and phrasing. Specific techniques, voicings, and licks will be introduced along the way.
We have two pianos available so we can always play together and accompany each other.
To join this class, you should already have solid experience playing piano (preferably jazz or similar), know the basic scales and chords, and be able to play from chord symbols.
